Ectrodactyly

defect in the development of the central rays of the hands and feet leading to a lobster claw deformity. This can occur as an isolated phenomenon or may be associated with syndromes and chromosomal abnormalities but occurrences of an isolated phenomenon are by far the commonest. Radiologically, the appearances depend on the extent of the ectrodactyly. There may only be two digits or there may be rudimentary other digits with syndactyly.
