Sialadenosis

enlargement of the salivary glands, most commonly the parotid glands, without evidence of inflammation, neoplasm or obstruction. It is seen in obese patients, chronic alcoholism, diabetes (and other endocrine abnormalities) and malnutrition, and is associated with intake of various drugs. The condition is reversible if no fatty replacement of the glands has occurred.
