Pseudomeningocele

collection of cerebrospinal fluid in the base of the neck, sometimes extending into the upper axillary region. It originates from leakage through a traumatic dural and arachnoidal rupture at the level of a lower cervical or upper thoracic neuroforamen, caused by an elongation injury of the brachial plexus (brachial plexus (VI:2), Fig. 1).
