Head and Neck ImagingPindborg tumour
(Jens Pindborg, 20th century, Danish pathologist), (also called calcifyinbg epithelial odontogenic tumour), benign but locally invasive epithelial tumour, clinically behaving as an ameloblastoma. Radiographically, it appears as a radiolucent lesion, with sharp or unsharp borders, uni- or multilocular, in 50 - 60% of cases associated with an unerupted tooth. In more advanced cases, scattered intralesional calcifications may be seen, typically located in the vicinity of the unerupted tooth.
