Head and Neck ImagingLymphoepithelial cyst
cyst thought to originate from intra- or periparotidal
lymph nodes, arising from intranodal salivary inclusions. Such a
cyst may be solitary or multiple, and may be associated with neck
lymphadenopathy head and neck; this association suggests the diagnosis of
HIV infection. On imaging, a lymphoepithelial
cyst appears as an unilocular or septated thin-walled fluid-containing structure (
Fig.1).
