Longus colli muscle, tendinitis

tendinitis of the longus colli muscle manifests radiologically as swelling of the prevertebral soft tissues of the upper cervical spine. Calcium deposits may be present in the soft tissue swelling. It causes pain, limitation of motion and sometimes also dysphagia.
