Head and Neck ImagingKiesselbach's plexus
(Wilhelm Kiesselbach, 1839 - 1902, German laryngologist), area in the anteroinferior part of the nasal septum, supplied by the sphenopalatine, greater palatine, superior labial and anterior ethmoid arteries. The anastomoses of these vessels are known as Kiesselbach's plexus. Most cases of epistaxis arise from this area (also referred to as Kiesselbach's area or Little's area).
