Buccopharyngeal fascia

(also called the visceral fascia), fascia surrounding the oro- and nasopharyngeal constrictor muscles and the pharyngobasilar fascia, forming the medial wall of the parapharyngeal space. It belongs to the middle layer of the deep cervical fascia.
