Aneurysmal bone cyst

solitary osteolytic lesion, consisting of thin-walled spaces filled with blood. It may be seen in the maxillofacial skeleton, more commonly in the mandible. CT and MRI are useful to show the full extent of the lesion. It may appear unilocular or multilocular ('soap-bubble' appearance); MRI may in particular demonstrate the presence of fluidfluid levels within the lesion. Also, see bone cyst.
