osteolytic lesion, consisting of thin-walled spaces filled with blood. It may be seen in the maxillofacial skeleton, more commonly in the
mandible.
CT and
MRI are useful to show the full extent of the
lesion. It may appear unilocular or multilocular ('soap-bubble' appearance);
MRI may in particular demonstrate the presence of fluidfluid levels within the
