Osteoma

benign osseous growth usually involving the outer table of the skull and protruding under the scalp soft tissue. Radiologically it is well demonstrated by plain films and mainly by axial CT that clearly shows its relationship with the outer table. Also, see osteoma and osteoid osteoma.
