Cardiovascular ImagingCine mri
a series of MR images corresponding to multiple, evenly spaced, phases of the cardiac cycle. Usually the imaging data and electrocardiogram are recorded in order to retrospectively reconstruct images corresponding to several phases of the cardiac cycle. The multiple images are sequentially linked in order to produce a cinematic display. The cine images can be used to evaluate ventricular volumes, ejection fraction, regional ventricular wall motion and thickening and valvular function.
