Adenosquamous carcinoma

a type of lung cancer that consists of a mixture of malignant squamous and glandular components (see squamous cell carcinoma pulmonary and adenocarcinoma pulmonary). Typically this neoplasm is peripheral in location and associated with early metastasis and a poor prognosis.
