Urogenital ImagingFibrosarcoma, genitourinary
typically an unencapsulated infiltrative mass composed of
malignant fibroblasts. The tumours display a wide spectrum of cellular differentiation. High-grade anaplastic tumours frequently contain areas of
haemorrhage and necrosis. In the genitourinary system, fibrosarcomas have been described in the kidney, spermatic cord, and retroperitoneum. The imaging findings at
ultrasound (

CT or
MRI are those of a nonspecific irregular inhomogeneous infiltrative mass which enhances after contrast.
