Angiosarcoma, uterine

malignant vascular tumour of the uterus are rare. Angiosarcomas, composed of anastomosing vascular channels lined by atypical endothelial cells, may infiltrate the myometrium. Poorly differentiated angiosarcomas may demonstrate solid growth patterns. Imaging findings on ultrasound, CT or MRI are nonspecific. The uterus is enlarged by an infiltrating, briskly enhancing, soft tissue mass.
