Urogenital ImagingAngiosarcoma, uterine
malignant vascular tumour of the uterus are rare. Angiosarcomas, composed of anastomosing
vascular channels lined by atypical
endothelial cells, may infiltrate the myometrium. Poorly differentiated angiosarcomas may demonstrate solid growth patterns. Imaging findings on
ultrasound,
CT or
MRI are nonspecific. The uterus is enlarged by an infiltrating, briskly enhancing, soft tissue mass.
