tumour of childhood arising from retinal cells that may spread beyond the orbit. Patients may experience destruction of the facial bones and sinuses, extension to the spinal canal, or dissemination throughout the body. Skeletal involvement may lead to
permeative bone destruction, osteolysis and periostitis. On radiographs the condition may simulate the findings of
neuroblastoma or
medulloblastoma.
