Pyruvate kinase deficiency

a metabolic disorder that is one of the causes of nonspherocytic haemolytic anaemia. Among the radiographic changes noted in persons with this deficiency are marrow hyperplasia, osteoporosis, widening of the diploe, and thinning of the outer table of the cranial vault.
