Pseudorheumatoid chondrodysplasia, progressive

an autosomal recessive spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia occurring in children and resembling rheumatoid arthritis but without synovitis. Progressive arthropathy (joint pain, swelling, and stiffness), platyspondyly, epiphyseal irregularity, secondary osteoarthritis and short stature are characteristic.
