Mixed sclerosing bone dystrophy

the presence of radiographic features of osteopoikilosis, osteopathia striata and melorheostosis in various combinations. Four classic types are recognized:

  • osteopathia striata, melorheostosis, osteopoikilosis and focal osteosclerosis;

  • osteopathia striata and cranial sclerosis with or without osteopoikilosis;

  • osteopathia striata, generalized cortical hyperostosis, and metadiaphyseal widening with or without cranial sclerosis and osteopoikilosis of the ribs; and

  • osteopoikilosis with diaphyseal periosteal proliferation.
