Malignant histiocytosis

a rapidly progressive malignant haematopoietic disorder involving infiltration of histiocytes into lymph nodes, liver, spleen and bone marrow. On radiographs, osteolytic foci with sclerotic margins may be seen in affected bones, most often in the pelvis, spine or tubular bones.
