Musculoskeletal ImagingGardner's syndrome
(W.J. Gardner, 20th century, American physician), a familial autosomal dominant disease characterized by polyposis of the colon, multiple osteomas and soft tissue tumours. For a general description, see Gardners syndrome.
Desmoid tumours are particularly common in patients with Gardner's syndrome, and the osteomas typically involve the mandible, calvaria and tubular bones. Dental lesions are also common.
