Ulnar artery

the larger terminal branch of the brachial artery. Arises immediately distal to the elbow and passes along the medial side of the forearm to the hand where it continues as the superficial palmar arch. Gives origin to muscular, anterior ulnar recurrent, posterior ulnar recurrent, common interosseous, palmar carpal, dorsal carpal and deep palmar branches.
