Gall-bladder stone

Also called biliary stones. Bile often contains poorly soluble components which may precipitate and collect into "stones". Such stones may cause severe pain attacks when the drainage from the gall-bladder is blocked. Gall-bladder stones may be seen on X-ray (incl. CT) and ultrasound
