Cerebrovascular
Relating to blood vessels in the brain. If a larger blood vessel (artery) gets blocked this causes a stroke, but if this happens in one of the smaller blood vessels we use the term transitory ischeamic attack (TIA). A bleeding from a blood vessel in the brain (cerebral haemorrhage) may be the result of a ruptured aneurysm often causing similar symptoms as in a stroke, but since the treatments for stroke and cerebrovascular bleeding are, naturally, very different it is important to establish a correct diagnosis as early as possible for both afflictions.
