Magnetic Resonance Cholangio-Pancreatography
General term describing non-invasive MRI alternative to the classic endoscopic retrograde techniques. High spatial resolution assessment uses either breath-hold SSFSE, or respiratory-triggered FRFSE. Functional LAVA in combination with liver-specific contrast agents (which are partially excreted through the biliary system) can produce a functional MRCP.
