Metastasis, case 1
Clinical history
This 71-year-old patient has a history of right cerebellar medulloblastoma, operated on ten years before. He was symptom-free for ten years and was recently admitted for deterioration of his general clinical condition, weakness of the legs, and gait impairment.

Follow-up clinical course
The patient underwent surgery, confirming the histological diagnosis of metastasis from medulloblastoma. He underwent chemotherapy, but multiple leptomeningeal metastases were diagnosed on follow-up MRIs and the patient died one year later.
Comment
This case illustrates the fact that medulloblastoma may metastasize even after years of clinical remission.
