FDG PET: Increased uptake in numerous lesions mediastinum, pericardium, neck: FNA smears: Necrotizing granulomatous inflammation.
Teaching point:
Histoplasmosis and sarcoidosis may on FDG PET present very similar to lymphoma, and biopsy is needed to differentiate.
