Monomeric

Monomeric contrast media. Contrast media consisting of one benzoic ring with 3 iodine atoms. Monomeric contrast media can be ionic ("Ratio 1.5 contrast media") or non-ionic ("Ratio 3 contrast media").  All of them have osmolality higher than blood/body fluids, ionic CM 5-7x as high, and non-ionic 2-3x as high.
